The main aim of this book is to introduce to a system which can detect brain tumor using brain Magnetic Resonance Image segmentation. Automated MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) brain tumor segmentation is a difficult task due to the variance and complexity of tumors. In this work, a statistical structure analysis based brain tissue segmentation scheme is presented, which focuses on the structural analysis on both abnormal and normal tissues. As the local textures in the images can reveal the typical 'regularities' of biological structures, textural features have been extracted using co-occurrence matrix approach. By the analysis of level of correlation the number of features can be reduced to the significant components. Feed forward back propagation neural network is used for classification. Proposed techniques of analysis and classification are used to investigate the differences of texture features among macroscopic lesion white matter (LWM) and normal appearing white matter (NAWM) in magnetic resonance images (MRI) from patients with normal and abnormal white matter.

Iron based alloys find their application at a number of places. Their applications range from structural materials to transformer cores. An important class of iron alloys is the Iron-Nickel alloys. Iron- Nickel alloy thin films play an important role in the semiconductor industry. They can be deposited in a variety of ways. But a particularly good approach is electrodeposition because it is cheap and scalable. However, composition and residual stress are two major parameters of concern in any electrodeposition process and are extremely sensitive to experimental conditions.The research summarized in this book was aimed at understanding the effect of individual experimental parameters on the properties of electrodeposited films and the interactions between various parameters.The effect of plating parameters, solution chemistry, and mass transport conditions on composition and residual stress was analyzed.A novel non-destructive film dislodge technique was utilized in order to isolate electrodeposited films in their native form. Statistical analysis was used to evaluate the interaction and collective impact of the variables on the Electrodeposited films.
